Selection Guide — LV Switchgear Assembly

This guide compares the low-voltage assemblies by structure and duty.

Step 1 — Fixed or withdrawable

• Simple fixed distribution → GGD (fixed, up to 4000A busbar)
• Motor control / hot-swap maintenance → GCK or GCS (drawout)

Step 2 — Duty and current

• General power distribution → GGD / GCK, busbar up to 4000A
• Higher busbar and automation → GCS (up to 5000A, 80kA withstand) or Blokset 5000 (up to 6300A, up to 100kA)

Step 3 — Protection and standard

All follow IEC 61439 / GB/T 7251.1-2023. Confirm IP (IP30/IP40 base, IP54 option) and segregation form with the panel builder.

Step 4 — Add compensation if needed

If power factor is low, add a GGJ capacitor compensation cabinet (1–600 kvar) on the same LV system.
