Operating Principle

Dry type transformer works on the law of electromagnetic induction.After alternating current passes into the primary winding, alternating magnetic flux is generated and conducted through the iron core. The alternating magnetic field induces electromotive force on the secondary winding to complete voltage transformation. Different from oil-immersed transformers, it relies on air convection and fans for heat dissipation, with epoxy resin as the main insulating medium.
