The XGN68-12 Series Indoor AC Metal-Enclosed Switchgear (here in after referred to as “indoor ring-main unit”) is a compact, vacuum-interruption, solid-insulated, and air-insulated miniaturized indoor ring-main unit. This series of indoor ring-main units comprises various types of switchgear cabinets—including vacuum circuit breaker cabinets (Z), vacuum load switch cabinets (F), and vacuum load switch + fuse combination cabinets (F.R)—all of which can be flexibly and conveniently configured into diverse ring-main power supply units.
The switchgear adopts a bolted assembly enclosure structure, which is fabricated with 2mm thick aluzinc-coated steel plates. The whole equipment reaches IP2X protection level and is equipped with high-reliability mechanical interlocking and anti-misoperation functions to avoid operational errors and ensure safe and stable equipment operation. Independent pressure-release openings are configured for the cable compartment and busbar compartment respectively. The design can effectively release internal gas pressure generated by equipment faults, greatly improving operational reliability and maximizing personal safety.
This indoor metal-enclosed RMU switchgear is designed for indoor installation and operation, and shall be used under the following standard environmental conditions:
1. Altitude: ≤ 1,000 meters above sea level;
2. Ambient temperature: -25°C to +40°C;
3. Relative humidity: Daily average ≤ 95%, monthly average ≤ 90%;
4. Seismic intensity: ≤ 8 degrees;
5. Site conditions: The installation site must be free from fire hazards, explosion risks, severe contamination, chemical corrosion and intense vibration.
