- What is the difference between XGN15-12 and SRM-12C?
- XGN15-12 is an SF6 gas-insulated ring main unit in a sealed tank; SRM-12C is a fully gas-insulated RMU with all live parts in a 3mm stainless-steel welded tank, better for humid or polluted rooms. Both are 12kV / 630A.
- When should I choose XGN-12 solid-insulated switchgear?
- For high altitude (up to 4000 m), severe cold (-45 to +45 °C), heavy humidity or heavy pollution. Its epoxy-cast conductors are fully insulated, sealed and shielded.
- European (YB□-12) or American (ZGS13) pad-mounted substation?
- YB□-12 has three serviceable compartments and supports dry or oil transformer (200–1600 kVA). ZGS13 is fully sealed, 1/3–1/5 the volume, best where space is tight and maintenance access is minimal.
- Can an RMU be installed outdoors?
- Yes — house any 12kV RMU inside a KBS-12 outdoor ring main cabinet (12kV / 24kV option).
